Cherry juice is rich in antioxidants that are helpful for hypertension.

These antioxidants (polyphenols), help to dilate blood vessels, and improve aerial elasticity.

60ml of sour cherry juice may lower systolic blood pressure up to 7mmHg.

Mind that the effect is transitory.
Effect may last for six to eight hours.
Blood pressure may start to lower about one hour after of drinking the juice.
